While that PN may work for your application, it also may be more expensive just because that specific PN is somewhat 'rare'. When I enter the PN you provided in TascaParts and several other sites it comes up as the ACM for a later model 14-speaker Explorer EA5Z-14D212-BA IF you already have and use ForScan with an OBD interface, then the options are wider since that's what you need to reprogram a wider number of modules to work in your Escape. One approach would be for you to pull your ACM and look at the PN on the bottom of it (if you do that please post it here) and see if you can exactly match that PN.

The ESN is on a tag on the unit and will also show correctly on your screen menu after you install a new unit with Sirius capability. You'll just have to contact Sirius with the ESN number for the replacement unit so they can change that on their end for your Sirius subscription if you use it.
Some ACMs meeting that criteria may have a different PN from your OEM unit. IMO any 2013-2015 Escape ACM that exactly matches your 'feature set' will be a plug-and-play replacement with no 'reprogramming' required and no error messages generated.
